The
Christy Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelet is designed and
handcrafted by Julie Diller in honor of Christy, who lost her battle with cancer on October 5th,
2000 ,
at the age of thirty-six.
Christy's battle opened Julie's eyes to a need in the community: support
for patients and families dealing with cancer.
Five
dollars from each Christy Collection item is donated to the Christy
Fund: Community Cancer Care. To date, over $8,330 has been contributed from the
sale of these pieces!
