The Christy Fund:
Community Cancer Care funds
non-profit organizations that provide support for the everyday needs of
cancer patients.
Our goal is to fill some of the gaps existing in the delivery of
health care by addressing insufficiencies of insurance and supporting
programs outside the scope of traditional patient care.
The Christy Fund was established as a 501(3)c organization in 2001 to
honor the spirit of a woman who, when faced with the challenge of cancer,
worked to assist her fellow patients.
Our focus is on community, because by taking care of each other, we
develop a stronger network of support.
Were all about the care.
"The Christy Fund has made it possible
for us to offer patients and their families some of the additional resources
that make such a difference in how they live with the disease."
Debra
Mattison, M.S.W., University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center
